So, I hop on my Mac to do what I usually do.  Although, it's Christmas Eve and I'm expecting to read some fluffy headlines.  Instead this is how it went:

Step 1. Sign on

Step 2. Go to a couple of my Home Pages

Step 3.  Review the Headlines on various news sites

Step 4.  Read the following top two headlines on Fox News:

A Cheerful Christmas For the First Time in Years

Iran Plans 19 Nuclear Power Plants

They are in this exact order.  Nothing proceeding the first headline.  I read it again….what?  Now, if I were a total idiot and didn't know that one must click on the headlines to read the whole story, what the heck would these two lines tell me?  Just these two lines, all alone…no clicking.

Is somebody trying to tell me that the United States is having a cheerful Christmas for the first time in years because Iran is planning 19 nuclear plants?  Am I supposed to be cheerful for Iran?   Well, here is a real newsflash, I am NOT cheerful about Iran having 19 nuclear power plants and it certainly doesn't make this Christmas any better than any others in the past!!!  I know of one other country that is probably very cheerful about this news, besides Iran, that would be Putin, the KGB and Russia.  As for this American, my Christmas cheer has nothing to do with Iran.

Good thing I know that I have to click on headlines.  Although, these stories still don't make me want to jump up and down and do a cheer!  Guess I'd better go get a cup of eggnog with extra nutmeg!!
