INTERNET STALKING
It seems the occurrence of Internet Stalking has finally been picked up by the MSM. I am not surprised that it has taken identity thefts, sexual deviants, people gone missing, unexplained murders and suicides, to make it happen.
I am quite cynical, so I have always safeguarded myself when it comes to myself and family. This is not to say that who I present myself as on this website is not truthful because it is. I am simply stating that my identity information is not readily available. Yes, there are some folks out there who know exactly who I am, where I live, etc. (yes that means you Sparky, Mark, CJ and Warner. The rest know who you are). I have even met some folks who have become very close to me and my family. However, it doesn't take away from my knowledge that there are plenty of people in this world who would love nothing more than to shut me up. Astonishingly enough, it even includes so-called troop support groups but don't like my politics.
What I find interesting. is that most of threats I have received have come from those who sit on the left-winged side of politics. Yes, I get the usual X-rated nonsense, but luckily I can block most those. What is even worse, is that I have been tracked down by a couple of predators. They look for their chosen criteria and decide who may be "weak". I have even had the woman who was convicted of battery against me locate my website and start harassing me. It is because of her, that I temporarily shut down my website, tracked her whereabouts and had to call the police to file reports.
The point of this post is to let all of you know that stalkers, trolls, predators, or whatever you want to call them, can not hide behind the Freedom of Speech Amendment. They can not be hidden away. If you ever feel threatened or physically intimidated, you have the right to report it and you should. Under Federal guidelines, these losers can, and have been, prosecuted for Internet Harassment, Intimidation and Stalking. Don't ever be afraid to speak up.

Since I write under my real name, my Dad (an ex-cop) always says that one day I may find a troublesome stalker. But, it is a chance I am willing to take for the legitimacy of writing under my real name and not an assumed one.
