Valentine's Day is a holiday Americans go along with.  It is supposed to be a day we are to spend with somebody we are in love with and who is in love with us.

So what happens if nobody is in love with us?  What if we aren't in love with somebody else?   What if we are in love with somebody, but we can't be with them?

To all those who are wondering, I am bringing you the best news!!  None of you are alone!!  Stop that "wondering" right this instant!!  Yes, you are all loved!!  Yes, you are missed!  I am the voice inside of you that tells you this every day of your life.

So you don't believe me?  You need proof?

How many times have you been spared when you know you should have been punished?  How many times have you looked up to the sky and smiled for no good reason?  Have you ever felt you can't  fall asleep because you just need someone, then sweet  memories fill your mind and, yet somehow you drift away?  Have you ever checked your email or gone on the internet and there is a photo, a number, a smell, a feeling…it takes you away to the very place you want to be?

Why is it that when you are truly at your deepest, most lonely times, you suddenly don't feel so alone?  I am about to tell you why.  It's because you never are alone.  One thing I am learning is that I can keep rolling on ahead, with or without those who I think should be with me, even though it scares the shit out of me.  On the other hand, I can stand up and understand that life changes and I have to face whatever happens and I can do it.  I can do it because I am never truly alone.  Never.

I  have spent most of my life alone because I have always known I was never truly alone.   I just love to go on adventures on my own terms.  I ain't unhappy about it either.  I loved so many people along the way.  So, if you can understand what I'm saying then you understand that even if you think you are living a life alone, you aren't.  I am standing next to you.  In spirit and in faith.
