This year, St. Patricks Day falls on Monday, March 17.   I suspect many folks will be doing their celebrating on March 14 or 15 since the day before is Palm Sunday.  Therefore, it is best to get your packages shipped out in enough time for our service members to celebrate these couple of days before.  Here are some suggested items to send in a "St. Patrick Day" care package:

• Shamrock decorations
• Green Gatorade
• Green Face Paint (anywhere costumes are sold)
• Shamrock window clings
• Green Hacky Sacks
• Green Apple Jolly Ranchers
• Green M&M's—-Buy them now before they're gone!
• O'Douls (Be sure you wrap each one!)
• Package of green colored markers
• Shamrock Confetti
  
• The DVD "Warlock"
  
• Green Bead Necklaces
  
• Decorated Irsh Cookies (Wrap Carefully!)
  

Use as much "green" wrapping as you can.  Bagpipe music isn't really recommended to military personell.  It is too reminescent of  Honor Guard Services.  Have fun with all things "green" and "Shamrocks"!
